B.Tech. courses are duly approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (, Government of India and the Department of Higher Education, Government of West Bengal.

The Institute is affiliated to the West Bengal University of Technology (WBUT).

For the below programs, there is a provision of (i) 15% supernumerary seats under FN/PIO/Children of Indian workers in Gulf countries category for AEIE,BT,CSE,ECE and IT in the 1st year and (ii) Lateral Entry of Diploma Holders in Engineering/Technology and B.Sc. Degree holders in the 2nd year with an additional intake of 10% of the approved intake.
